This fantastic soap bar is made from olive-oil and water infusions of everything that's growing in my garden right now, in all of the soap's phases, creating a beautiful bar of soap, both herbaceous and sweet form the dominant notes of lavender and artemisia (absinthe). There is also added honey for moisture, and hints of rosemary and sage.
Like all of our soap, it is superfatted - which means it has wonderful moisturizing qualities due to high content of unsaponified oils within the formula. It is the same rich-lathering formula we've always had for our soaps, now handcrafted in our new studio in Clil by yours truly!
We're using olive oil that was cold-pressed from olive which were organically grown in a Druze village near Mt. Meron infused with summer wild-harvest of Three-Lobed Sage (Salvia fruiticosa) leaves and resin; Oganic virgin coconut oil (both are food grade quality), palm oil and castor oil for that extra emollient quality. The finely ground and infused myrrh resin provides both healing and nourishment for the skin, as well a bit of "peeling" effect for renewed and rejuvenated skin, further softened by the honey.
The result is a hard, long-lasting bar with rich lather that is very moisturizing - a real treat for your skin, hair and even for shaving; and with a surprisingly warm, sweet, herbaceous tea-like aroma of lavender and artemisia, sweetened by honey.
Ingredients: Saponified vegetable oils (organic virgin coconut oil, organic virgin olive, shea butter, cocoa butter, cold-pressed castor), water, lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), rosemary and sage)*, honey, lavandin (Lavandula x intermedia), essential oil, rosemary (rosmarinus officinalis) absolute

Four Sages Incense cones are a purifying herbal medicine, inspired by the Indigenous People's smudging ceremony of clearing space and aura. Here I used ethically wildcrafted botanicals and ones grown in my garden from both the West Coast of Canada and the Western Galilee, where I now live.
Four Sages incense cones contain Coastal Mugworth, White Sage (Sagebrush), which are both types of artemisia, a pinch of wormwood and clary sage from my garden, and of course - three-lobed sage that is the iconic scent of the Galilee.
These are hand-rolled in the traditional technique, made from finely ground sage leaves, and bound with natural gums or wood bark.
No saltpetre or charcoal used in these cones. Cones are generally faster burning than a thick joss stick (range of burning time may be from 7-15min, and produce more smoke. They are more convenient to burn while traveling and outdoors, and they stand on their own base, and therefore don't really require special equipment or vessels.
Burning instruction: Prepare a heat-proof vessel, on a sturdy surface away from flammables and out of reach of children and animals. To prevent scorch marks, it is recommended that you layer some sand, earth or ash on the vessel. Place the cone and light the tip of it, and allow the flame to extinguish. Because these are handmade cones, each has a different burning times.
