Moon Breath is a meditative perfume oil consisting primarily of heady white flowers connected to the moon. Jasmine, ylang ylang and frangipanni create the floral core, uplifted by notes of grapefruit and Bois de Rose. The base provides a deep anchor and is grounding through the ever-changing cycle of tide and breath.

Malabi, the queen of Middle Eastern summer desserts, is a milk pudding served chilled and bejewelled by a fragrant rosy syrup. But what always captured the perfumer's imagination the most about malabi was its soft, evocatively sounding name, and its unique fragrant combination of rosewater and neroli. Two noble flowers, yet so distinctively different that it's surprising they would ever get along at all. Rose is open, voluptuous, sweet and feminine. Neroli is prim and proper, restrained, clean, ethereal and otherworldly that you'd be surprised it grows on a tree. And what holds these two together is nothing but pure, botanical musk. This gentle deer-musk-like accord doesn't need arrows, and plays the harp better than cupid: it walks silently and pulls all the strings with effortless fluidity.

Scented selfie, a portrait of the most eccentric flower of them all. Narkiss means narcissus in Hebrew. The word curiously contains within it the fatal kiss that drowned the mythical lad in his very own reflection. Narkiss is an act of self-love, just before the illusion disappeared. Just before the nose dips into the water and discovers their murky truth. The ethereal kiss of sunshine on a winter day, mingled with damp wood, grass and paddles. The delight of picking flowers by the train tracks. Wild flowers illuminated by a break in the clouds. A candle-lit flower, mysterious and dark. NARKISS was released for Chanukah 5775. 

Update: Narkiss was recently updated to include enfleurage of organically grown Narcissus tazetta (AKA Chinese Sacred Lily), hand picked from Ayala Moriel's Botanical Perfume Garden

Masterclass with world-renown Master Perfumer Ayala Moriel, at her state-of-the art perfume studio, lab and fragrant garden located at the foothills of breathtaking village of Clil, overseeing the Mediterranean. A rare opportunity to learn from a master and world-leader of modern Natural Perfumery and truly immerse yourself in the perfume plants both wild and cultivated, and explore the region where perfume and incense originate. 

Designed for students who want to excel in their studies of natural perfumery. This week-long intensive Masterclass runs Sun-Thu from 8:30am-3:30pm, and offers theoretical and practical guidance alongside hands-on lab exercises and experiments.

The palette of natural perfumers is expanding, and natural isolates are one way to add new notes, nuances and special effects to your perfumes as well as challenge your composition skills. In the theoretical part of this course you will learn about the different types of isolates, how they are manufactured, a little bit about their chemistry, and how to know if your raw material is truly natural or not, learn to identify isolates by blind-testing, find out where they are naturally occurring and be able to pick them out in a composition or a naturally-occurring olfactory scenario; and and last but not least: learn about the qualities that make isolates useful and valuable when composing fragrances. In the practical lab sessions, you will incorporate  these exciting raw materials into compositions of your own, and receive hands-on guidance from master perfumer Ayala Moriel addressing issues unique to your style, blending and process, and problem-solving along the way. 

Designed for the most advanced students of perfumery, and for working perfumers who wish to polish their skills at manipulating the composition with much finesse and refinement, and master the use of unique, rare and unusual accessory notes. The fee includes all materials and supplies used during the course. Students are required to purchase a course textbook prior to their first course start date. The same book is used throughout the entire program. 

Prerequisites: This course is suitable only for advanced students who have completed at least 6 courses with Ayala Moriel Parfums.

Nerikoh is a traditional Japanese kneaded incense, that is hand-rolled and aged and fermented underground for several months or years. It is less known in the west and often burnt during the tea ceremony because they are a refined and smoke-free form of incense. Precious woods, herbs and spices are finely ground and bound together with honey and dried fruit, then rolled into tiny balls. 

Nerikoh incense is not meant to be burnt, but rather warmed in traditional Koh-Doh cup, or for more convieneinct and accessible technique - place on top of an electric incense heater or aromatherapy lamp/diffuser. You'll only a tiny pinch of each ball to scent a room for hours on end, releasing  gentle yet enveloping and exotic aroma.

Precious woods, spices and moss in a base of organic, uncultured apricots and wild honey.  

Hanami Nerikoh
Delicate woods, iris, botanical musks and precious woods kneaded together with honey and apricots produce a unique floral-almond aroma that evoke the season of sakura and ume (Japanese plum) blossoms.

Oasis Nerikoh
Exotic Ras El Hanout spices and precious resins blneded with dates and wild summer honey to evoke the era of the spice caravans camping in a desert oasis.

Classical Japanese scent evoking the ephemeral moment of a blue dragonfly touching the water in a temple's garden pond on a hot summer day. Borneol camphor creates the feel of shimmering light on the dragonfly's wings and the calm water.

Sophisticated planetary incense that is deep with dark myrrh resin, cedar, cypress, patchouli, cassia, vetiver, agarwood and a touch of honey to balance its heaviness.
