This save is made of nourishing rice bran oil that has been infused with wildcrafted elecampane (Inula viscosa) leaves and flowers. Also known as False Yellowhead and Strong-Smelling Inula, this is a healing herb of many virtues, and as its name suggests - a strong, musky scent, and a resinous coating to the leaves that is antiseptic and healing.
Emollient, fast absorbing and deeply hydrating rice bran oil along with moisturizing shea butter and organic beeswax give an extra nourishment and hydration to all skin types. Especially suitable for dry skin in problem areas, including elbows, knees and heels.

Due to its delicate flavour and sweet perfume, citron (Citrus medica, or Etrog in Hebrew) garnered mythical significance like no other citrus fruit. It is one of the 4 species in Sukkot, alongside myrtle, willow and palm. Etrog symbolizes the heart, and is said to represent a complete, balanced person: one who has both knowledge and learning, as well as good deeds. And like all good things, citron fruit is rare, and its essences is even more difficult to find. Therefore, the perfumer had to tincture her own: fresh organic fruit was tinctured by her family in Israel, and the rabbi of downtown Vancouver donated his family's Etrogim for 3 consecutive years. Thanks to this community effort - the first "Oy de Cologne"! Ayala Moriel's Etrog Oy de Cologne is a modern twist on a timeless classic: citron zest is paired with pomelo peel to accentuate its subtle floral-citrus aroma, alongside green myrtle and Japanese mint to balance its fruity sweetness. Balsam poplar buds created a honeyed, pulp-like texture alongside Australian lemon myrtle and citron leaves. Whiffs of fragrant mulled wine escape the door as someone enters it, shaking the snow off their furry coat collar. Picture yourself entering an ancient stone cathedral for Midnight Mass, lit with beeswax candles on the darkest night of the year, and shrouded in a thick cloud of frankincense smoke mingled with roses, lilies and orchard breeze from far away lands.

Fête d'hived Winter Solstice Incense cones come in a box containing paper-wrapped bundle of 18 incense sticks.
To burn the incense sticks: Place the lit stick (light the tip and then blow out the flame) on a bowl full of ash (preferably rice ash). This will enable the stick to burn without any bits left off. If you have a designated incense dish with a hole you may also use that. It will leave a tiny bit of incense unused though.
