Calendar of Workshops and Olfactory Events at Ayala Moriel Parfums Studio
Ayala Moriel offers private workshops integrating the pleasures of fragrance and flavour. Get creative and learn how to make your own natural perfume, scented chocolate truffles and other fragrantly creative ideas for aromatic cooking, body care and home fragrance - all naturally, of course.
The workshops take place in an intimate, informal setting at Ayala Moriel Parfums' studio. For your convenience, we are also happy to offer these workshops at your preferred location - i.e.: home, schools or special events. Workshops can be also For more details about the workshops click below. We can also accomodate your interest and age groups - Ayala has years of experience instructing all ages - inlcuding children, teenagers and adults.
To book your workshop, contact us with your preferred workshop, date, time and number of participants. Workshops must all be fully paid in advance, and can be also purchased online here.

THE PURPLE DRESS
A salute to Alexander Argov famous song, The Purple Dress is just as romantic in a chromatic, nocturnal, off-beat way. Champaca flowers from India are the main theme of this spicy, floral tea-like composition, accompanied by notes of white magnolia, honey, broom, star anise, and a foundation of black tea and smoky woods. The Purple Dress blurs the boundaries between oriental and soliflore.
Join us to light the 7th candle of Hanukkah and revealing The Purple Dress.

The Purple Dress perfume will be unveiled at 7:30 along with a presentation about notes in music and perfume.
Fragrant cocktails, perfumed teas and handmade goods andrefreshments will be served in abundance, there will be door prizes,lucky draw for a bottle of The Purple Dress perfume, and a presentationabout the inspiration, creation and construction of The Purple Dressand the connection between music and perfume.

Crème Parfum workshop
Learn how to design and create your own personal perfume from preciousbotanical essences. By the end of the workshop, you will have made aperfume to take with you. We will provide simple jars as basicpackaging, but fancy silver compacts or porcelain pillboxes from theperfumer’s collection will be available for purchasing, for those whowish to add an extra visual and tactile touch to their first olfactorycreation!

THE ART OF PERFUMED CANDLEMAKING
Join our guest instructor Nikki Sheritt, an artisan candle maker of Seattle-based Gabriel's Aunt,for an afternoon of candle-making. You will learn how to makebeautifully fragrant soy candles using essential oils and naturalvegetable waxes. You'll be guided step-by-step in the process ofblending the essences, moulding and crafting a high-quality,clean-burning candle. By the end of the class, you will take with you aspecially scented candle, beautifully packaged and gift wrapped - readyto go under the tree!

Introduction to Natural Perfumery
This class is an interactive introduction to the art of naturalperfumery. You will learn about how perfume is constructed, and willget exposed to the thinking process of a perfumer. You will learn howto sniff like a “Nose” and evaluate beautiful and strange essences fromaround the world, and smell how they were incorporated in some of AyalaMoriel’s perfume creations.

DIY Booze
Learn how to make your own fine liquors from readily available aromatics and spirits.
In this class we will make homemade Limoncello, a classic for the summer!

Aromatic Cooking with Fresh Herbs, Spices & Floral Essences

Join Ayala for a fabulous evening of aromatic cooking- using freshherbs,freshly ground spices, floral waters and essential oils - in bothsavory dishes and luxurious desserts. Your will be given a collectionof recipes totry at home, and receive guidelines for aromatic cooking. In eachclass, we will prepare an inspiring dish together using seasonalvegetables and fruit. I hope that by the end of the class you will feelinspired touse your own aromatic culinary creations at home and feel encouraged toexpress your creativity in the kitchen, using the best qualityaromatics you can source.
Examples of some of the dishes that you will learn about (each classwill be dedicated to one or two dishes, but you will recieve recipesfor more, enough to build a menu for an entire feast):
