Curated for Nicole Bridger

Trio for Nicole Bridger by Ayala Moriel

Nicole Bridger is a local and sustainable fashion designer. Nicole designs are fluid, using luxurious organic and sustainable fabrics and creating very livable garments that go beyond seasons and trends. Each piece can take you from daytime to evening with ease and elegance.

Her boutique on 4th avenue is the newest retailer that carries Ayala Moriel Parfums!
I've curated this collection of 3 pure natural perfume oils for her unique Eco and health concious yet fashion-driven clientele.

This trio is designed to accompany you throughout an action-packed day with grace and subtlety:

Bon Zai will gently wrap your aura in morning walks along Kits beach to relaxing afternoon yoga.

Moon Breath will enhance your awareness as you navigate through your work day; while creating a soft, sensual aura that will surround you with warmth through evening time.

Palas Atena is for the bold woman who knows what she wants at work and in love; and will wrap you with an assuring feeling of confidence and natural glamour.

Each 5ml parfum oil is $65 and will last on the shelf for several years (if you wear it lavishly on a daily basis, it will take you under its wing for at least 6 months). Wear it on pulse points (wrists, behind ears, nape of the neck for a subtle presence; and if you want to create a larger aura of scent - also the bend of your elbow, behind your knees and between the breasts).

Sweet Anthem in Seattle - our new reatiler!

I've just received the news that 6 of my perfumes have safely crossed the border, with snow and all, and landed at Sweet Anthem in Seattle!

This unique gallery boutique is dedicated to West Coast perfumes, and carries indie brands such as Rebel and Mercury, Gabriel's Aunt, and the house's line, Sweet Anthem, by Meredith Smith who curates this fragrant gallery and also teaches workshops and classes.

Sweet Anthem is the first shop in the USA to carry my newest fragrances: Orcas and Zangvil (oh, wait, it's actually the first in the whole world besides my studio to offer Zangvil!).
visit them in person to explore the other 4 scents - Espionage, Film Noir, Roses et Chocolat and White Potion!

Ayala Moriel Parfums @ Adhesif Boutique on Main!

Adhesif Opening

My perfumes launched at Adhesif Boutique yesterday (September 13th)! Get a whiff of my most daring perfumes and discover this whimsical little gem of timeless and bohemian pieces, ethically and locally made. Adhesif Clothing Boutique is located on 2202 Main & 6th Ave. Melissa Ferreira, the owner, is a talented Vancouver fashion designer that creates one of a kind pieces from recycled vintage fabrics for her Adhesif Clothing line, which was featured in Eco Fashion Week, CircleCraft show and numerous fashion magazines (scroll to the bottom of this post to see some self-portraits of me wearing some of the pieces from her recent FW2011/2012 collection).

My perfume display at Adhesif - notice the window display reflected in the mirror, and the fishbowl :-)
Adhesif is now the home for three fragrances for now:
Fetish - gourmand citrus with fir and jasmine green tea
Film Noir - sexy & spicy oriental with cacao and vintage patchouli
White Potion - seductive & voluptuous tuberose perfume with a creamy sandalwood & tonka notes.

All of Melissa's designs are one of a kind. I'm wearing here the Oh Jackie Jacket (described as what Jackie O would be wearing to Woodstock!) and the Saddle Skirt - the very same one the model is wearing in Adhesif FW11/12 Catalog (sorry, ladies, it is mine now!).

Gourmand Perfumes @ CocoaNymph

What an exciting fall!
I can't even decide anymore what I'm most proud about - each new store opening in Vancouver, my 1st appearance in Toronto (Shopgirls), or launching my three new chocolate bars!
Each retailer that have invited my perfumes into their boutique have been so fantastic and I'm so fortunate to be working with these amazing business women who work so hard and so genuinely to promote local Canadian designers and artists.

And it's double the excitement with CocoaNymph, because of my collaboration with Rachel to create the three amazing chocolate bars I've been bragging and talking about in the past few weeks. So not only does Rachel make these amazing bars for me, and we had a wonderful event the other night presenting them to the world for the first time; she also took in a beautifully delicious collection of 6 of my gourmand perfumes to complement the shop and give customers in Kitsilano and Point Gray neighbourhoods access to my creations.

CocoaNymph is not like any other chocolaterie. Because of Rachel's warm and compassionate personality, stepping into the shop feels at times more like a creative gathering place. The customer service is top notch (most customers are greeted by name as they stop by for their chocolate boost). And almost every week on Friday or Saturday, there is a live band playing at the shop. And did I mention there is a grand piano there too? We had classical pianist playing during our event and it was sooo beautiful...

The following perfumes and products have joined the chocolate bars on the shelves of CocoaNymph boutique (3739 West 10th @ Alma). Most of these perfumes (except for Film Noir) are exclusive to Ayala Moriel Parfums and CocoaNymph:

Guilt
Espioange
Roses et Chocolat
Immortelle l'Amour
Finjan
Film Noir

And besides the three amazing chocolate bars, you can also enjoy these luxurious matching products - teas and sugar scrubs:
Immortelle l'Amour tea
Roses et Chocolat tea
Guilt Sugar Scrubs
Finjan Sugar Scrubs

Stop by at the boutique to have a whiff of real, natural and uncompromising natural perfumes.
By early spring, we are also planning to launch CocoaNymph's own custom perfume. The date is not set yet, and the perfume is still in the making - but we promise it will have chocolate in it!

Special for 1st week in the shop: Purchase your favourite gourmand perfume at CocoaNymph and receive a matching chocolate bar on us!

Shopgirls in Toronto

Today, Bon Zai, Fetish and Film Noir have finally arrived to their new home on 1342 Queen Street West at Shopgirls Gallery Boutique.
This is very exciting news, as Shopgirls is the first retail location in Toronto to carry Ayala Moriel Parfums!
Hope they will be well received in their new town and who knows - maybe I'll pop by for a visit some day soon?
